Kansas Virtual Health Care Career Day


An opportunity to provide real world learning insights in today’s health care world.

Event Details

With hundreds of occupations, the health care field is a world of possibilities that is growing and evolving every day. This statewide, virtual event will take students inside Kansas hospitals to learn about a “day in the life” from health care professionals. In 2025, attendance totaled 4,000 attendees from over 200 schools and hundreds of rural and urban communities across Kansas.

This event is presented in partnership by the Kansas Hospital Association, the Kansas Board of Regents and the Kansas Department of Education. Check out this promotion video for the 2026 event below.

This is an opportunity to provide real world learning insights into today’s health care world and career pathways available to students — accessible whether in the classroom or watching from home. The program will engage students at all levels, including a Q and A session with health care professionals.

Highlighted careers will include the following field and more:

— Orthopedics and Sports Medicine
— Laboratory
— Social Services
— Pediatrics

Registration will open in November 2025.
