About Us
In February 1999, the Missouri Hospital Association and the Kansas Hospital Association formed an integrated limited liability company called The Health Alliance of MidAmerica. The Alliance enables health care-related organizations to strengthen efforts in the areas of policy development and federal representation and advocacy.

Our Members
The Missouri Hospital Association (Jefferson City, Missouri) is a not-for-profit membership association, that represents hospitals and health systems in Missouri. In addition to representation and advocacy on behalf of its membership, the association offers continuing education programs on current health care topics and seeks to educate the public, as well as legislative representatives, about health care issues.
The Kansas Hospital Association (Topeka, Kansas) is a voluntary, non-profit organization with a mission to be the leading advocate and resource for members. The Association provides its membership with opportunities to share information, receive continuing education and develop approaches to legislative and regulatory reforms. KHA’s vision is Optimal Health for Kansans and Kansas hospitals.
Kansas Hospital Association (KHA)
Founded in 1910 to improve hospital care through the exchange of knowledge and ideas, KHA is the lead organization for companies and affiliates that provides a wide array of services to the Kansas hospitals and the Midwest region. KHA has nearly 250 members consisting of community hospitals, health care organizations, insurance companies and other health care associates.

Kansas City Metropolitan Healthcare Council (KCMHC)
KCMHC is a partnership between the Kansas and Missouri Hospital Associations, representing around 40 hospitals in the bi-state region. It serves as a convener and resource, fostering collaboration among hospitals and with external stakeholders to improve community health. KCMHC focuses on shared solutions, community engagement and leveraging resources from both associations to share a healthier regional environment.
